Has anybody experienced a backward turning Tachometer? I noticed a week ago my tachometer needel was sticking, give it a LITTLE throttle and the needle would read 1900 rpm or so, I thought I would watch it for a little while before I called the dealer to see if it quit. Now it is going backwards, I will have to call the dealer this week. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.

Could be a number of things along with a bad tach, such as a faulty ground, moisture in the dash panel, etc. Is it doing this all the time or just intermittently? Have you tried the tradtional tried and true "percussion adjustment"??? ;o) ....

No Chief I haven't tried smacking it yet. Dad always says "if all else fails get a bigger hammer", but I figgured I would call the dealer first. The tractor is not even a month old yet so I'll let the dealer do the pounding. ....
